S.W. of Bolzano, on the S42 Brescia - Bolzano road.
Most casualties are from the Austro-Hungarian attack of June 1918 on the Tonale Pass, codenamed operation 'Lawine'. It was a diversionary attack for the main attack on the river Piave.
