MONTELLO OSSUARY,

NERVESSA DELLA BATTAGLIA (ITALY)

Nervessa is a small town on the west bank of the Piave river, north of Treviso.
The ossuary contains 9325 burials of which 6099 are unknown.

Most are casualties of the Austro-Hungarian Piave offensive on June 1918.
